Until we enter the gates of heaven and see you once again We shall remember you and never forget what price you payed for us who still remain. Thank you is not near enough but what else can I say. You gave your all for us back here now I pray... more
Sovereign God Almighty, You are my Commander; march into battle before me and order my steps where ever I go. Let me to see into my enemy's camp and discern sinister plan that is laid before me.
Deliver me by Your Spirit and aim Your Purpose straight at my heart. I want to hold fast to the Promises in Your Word. Equip me with the full Armor of God, so I can take my stand against the devils' schemes.
Render my life a living testament to Your Faithfulness, keep me safe in Your Everlasting Arms and hide me in the Shadow of Your Power. Amen
Starting Jun 21 on ABC there will be a new show Called COMBAT HOSPITAL. from the previews you can not tell if it is real cases or like China Beach, But it looks like it will be a great show
Well my Sweet Jesus in Heaven you started my day with 6 Fallen Brave Souls and as the day has progressed you have added 2 more. Oh I will keep watch and until the sun has set on Memorial Day Eve making sure that I as a simple being Honor ever Soul taken from us and delivered into your care.
As the toll grows I can only think of how many special people have joined you, and how many people are feeling the pain and feeling the loss. Grant them you comfort please
Nine Today And all I can do is pray to bring everyone else home Home with scarred hearts and memories Memories that will never leave them in Peace So My Dear Heavenly Father Hear my plea Show us the way With the same compassion and caring As you give to those in your care Comfort the Families Please Protect the Soldiers in Harms Way Amen still in Harms way
How many more names I will place here Before my time is through Only God knows If I will see their brothers/sisters return Home Only God knows If my prayers for the end of Iraq & Afghanistan will happen before my days are done Only God knows If my prayers are futile The tears come and go As again I play final taps For the four I placed here today. Honoring with gratefulness and a heavy heart These Brave young men Nicholas , Jordan, Jason, and Mark May they be granted everlasting Peace in His Promise Land
Only God knows When I will be able to thank you Until then one final Salute
Today I listed another who has left us After being airlifted state side in December 2010 He still fought like the Brave Soldier he was. Until today when God took him home.
Many never think about the wounded and how they suffer and sometimes still end up entering God's Promised lands.
If ever you get a chance visit the wounded and let them know you care. Those could be their final words heard. As was with this Brave Soldier Never forget our Fallen PLEASE
As I placed two more names of Men who gave their all in Iraq As I pray for those who suffered injuries also in the attacks And for those who must carry on knowing Men are missing and Two will never return but will be carried in their hearts and minds forever. Knowing the Families will forever live with the Sacrifice of their Loved Ones.
Yet one in Uniform reminded me as he is still in Iraq We cannot forget the loss of our Hero's But we must remain strong and care for Those Still Serving There And those who return with wounds Visible and Invisible.
So as I play Taps for those Lost I pray for the Troops and their Families Never losing sight the Lord cares for the Lost And we must care for those still living and fighting for what is right And supporting those who return home carrying scars inside and out that will alter how they live life forever.
Finding The Words Seems to be the hardest thing to do Even as I listed two more Brave Men/Boys today I am reminded of our Holy Day approaching The birth of the Christ Child And I am listing those who have sacrificed their lives for all of us in this Country And for those in a Country that knows not whether to hate us or help us free them Which leaves me with a feeling of desperation A feeling of sacrifice's that may not have been needed. Sacrifice's that affect many in the military Family and in their own Families.
And if the Father our Lord hears my prayers he knows I pray they all come safely Home Soon, I pray he spare the families of our Soldiers the pain of losing a loved one at War in a foreign land
Well you have heard my prayers for our Men and Women It has been only one or two names for a couple days Then it climbed to three And tonight it climbed to seven Please help us make sure all these brave soldiers who now reside with you, have not died in vain. Show me the way to bring light to all their brave efforts for this country I love. Show me the way to help others Remember The Cost of Their Freedom In you I place my trust As I ask you to watch over all those still in Harm's Way
as the taps play i hear the echos of your voices silently whispering I am Home.
Home Home not here We shall weep We will wail As the guns fire the 21 salutes There will be a vacant chair A place you no longer fill Yet in our hearts you remain Forever More
Nine gone forever Army and Navy they were and are Forever Brave Men Dedicated to we Americans and America May we never Forget The toll mounts The tears flow And still their Brothers and Sisters of Arms Carry on And as I listen to the Taps Played for all Here I ask God to comfort the Family's Keeping them and us strong As this war carries on And praying NO ONE Ever Forgets the Price being Paid
Listening to Taps As I have placed 7 Brave Men and 1 Brave Woman here today I listen in honor of all of them Praying they and those gone before them know I do remember the Price Paid as it plays And I am sad but eternally grateful to them for them service to this Great Country they all Love.
Yes today as I added names here I thought As these men entered the gates of Heaven They would get to meet those Who have gone before them. And many of them Being those of whom we still seek To bring their earthly remains Home Home to the Land they Loved Home to a Country that owes them A resting place of Peace Where their Family's can visit Paying respects to their Loved Ones Never can we give up The search must continue Until the last one is returned.
On 9/ 11 I respectfully inclined before my brother in Christ. are the children of God. My brother has lived for the perfect love of God and continue with our Heavenly Father. pity for the person ignorant of the word of God and we hurt when Muhammad was born. and the history of Israel's Holy broken
Nine years soon to be 9/11/2001 So many lives lost And our country came together United and Strong Even though we were filled with Grief
The call came All those named here on "Price of Freedom" Stepped up and moved forward As a Call for Arms was sent up
Seeking justice for Americans attacked Now nine years later We still rebuild Our Soldiers die in foreign lands Controversy surrounds The Sacred grounds of the Twin Towers
As we Honor Our Victims of 9/11 Honor Our Hero's who died to Rescue the Victims Pay due Respect to the Family's of 9/11 We must not and cannot forget Those who have died because they answered the Call to Arms for Americans and America We must not forget Those still in Harms Way
May you know as I placed your Son or Daughter Husband or Wife here on Never Forget I always come to the front page I always play the true Taps in their memory
For I and many others do not want Or ever will forget what they your "Loved Ones" have given for God and Country. It also reminds us of the Families
God Bless the Men and Women Who selflessly watch over us and others in far away places
Each of you who has lived with Honor, Dignity above and beyond what a normal citizen lives. Never asking why, but following orders given. Leaving your life on hold , until your orders are return home.
Yes you got those orders. But not from here, but from God. Many have grieved the loss of so many of you. Yet there are far more who know not who you were or why you were a person in Uniform. A soul that believed in protecting and serving. Writing that blank check That was cashed in, and you Honored.
Each of you I owe a debt I cannot repay it I can only say I will do my best to never make you ashamed of my actions or deeds.
A head Count How many lost How many already forgotten How many Families already feeling alone
Our June and July Has taken more than a Soldier a Day How many wounded I cannot say How many will struggle Yet no one will visit No one will offer a hand to help
As we watch our Country be torn apart And struggle to keep her Free How many Soldiers will be forgotten Left to struggle alone How many Families will carry a burden That no one should shoulder alone
The Old Veterans know how it goes Their Wives know how it works For a day or maybe a month Some will stand by But then they fade away
Thankful to the Veterans & their Family's They understand But what about the rest of America Where are they What are they doing to help
A Fallen Soldier should never be forgotten A Injured Soldier should have every chance to recover and return to a life of their choosing And every Soldier near and far should have the American's Support
Nope no word of warning No pictures on the news Just DOD telling me You both have served your time And after all is said and done The flags will be lowered to Half Mast For Both of You
Yet mine is already there Honoring you Anthony and Joshua And the others David Andrew Eddie Claudio and Kevin
Will there be a day When my flag can fly high again
Tired of losing my beloved Veterans From WWII, Korea, and Vietnam Tired of losing my Loved Soldiers In Iraq and Afghanistan
Tired of a Media who does not know your names Tired of lunatics who protest the last farewell of your human remains.
Yet here I sit adding six more names No one will read them Am I totally insane I cannot quit I would wither up and fade away If I neglected even one Soldier
Oh God am I tired But in no way can I be one who ignores your Sacrifice's
Never To Be Forgotten The Price Paid For my Freedom
Another day Another name No one's here It's just the same.
Me and the Family's As the list grows The names flow Through my mind and heart
A day of remembering Those who wear the uniforms A week of remembering Those who protect and serve.
At times like this inside I cry It takes a calender To remind To tell them remember
How the hell did so many become blind To everyday events Everyday hero's in Harms Way The Common Man Being the Common Soldier Writing a check The price, Your Life The reason Our Freedom
I read the guest book The names are few Of people who care enough To leave messages and love Words that help families know Someone really cared Someone wrote Simple words Saying I am sorry I care I pray for your Family I thank God for you Because of you I am free But then remember your are
The soldier who will never walk through the door at home The vacant chair at the table The mom or dad who will never see your child grow, graduate and achieve the dreams you had for them. Or the mom and dad who will never see their child return and marry and raise a family.
May those who depend on a calendar Wake up To the true cost of their Freedom They sleep here at home While your Comrades are in Harm's Way While the freedoms that you protected Are being silently stolen By the corrupt and greedy Who show no respect to you or your Brothers of Arms
Placing names upon this page Has become a self driven goal Of Remembering and Honoring Those whom I can never repay
It has become a place for me to remember Freedom is Not Free And the toll Is of all nationalities fighting in Uniforms of this Country and Other Countries Trying to Secure the Freedoms for Many besides me.
So I will continue on building the list Adding the names that will NEVER END Until I fade from sight and can no longer place more names to the list of THOSE WHO GAVE THEIR ALL
My Days Grow Shorter And soon we all shall meet I look forward to that day when I can say Thank You For protecting one as unworthy as I am. For granting me a freedom that I never took for granted. Until then may God grant me the wisdom To understand the reasons why It was you instead of I.
It has been another day of remembering A day of prayer for all of you. Hopefully you know with this letter the sacrifices shall never be forgotten. Those of your Family Or those you have made and will live with always.
Know you are in our thoughts and Prayers And will always be indebted because of the Sacrifice of a loved one all in the name of Freedom.
such young years yesterday and today placed the names of twelve brave men here they be remembered by me until my end the visits few mostly family looking to see if I remembered their son, husband, the father or friend.
to those who write me a give me thanks for remembering it is I who owes the debt to you your sacrifice for this country the loss of your child, husband, a debt I cannot repay So I seek in prayer comfort for all whose lives are changed forever by the loss in war of a loved one.
Today as I listed another Three Fallen Heroes My thoughts return to the story 1/2 boy 1/2 man
Yet as I listed the names they were all boys who quickly became men Such a loss should never be forgotten The loss to the Families should not be forgotten
